"What Do The Beatles Have In Common With The Breakaways? VOX"
US Vox Advertisement - 1965
Riding the musical and cultural phenomenon created by the Beatles, Thomas Organ conceived this magazine ad to give hope to every 1960s era basement and garage rock band. As long as your parents would sign the note to purchase Vox gear for your band, your teenaged group would have a shot at having something "in common" with the Beatles.

Personally, I am still waiting for the Breakaways' reunion tour.

This ad appeared in "Downbeat" magazine in mid 1965.
