The Beatles - "Vox: Sound of the Longhairs"
US Vox Advertisement - 1965
As the result of an agreement made in 1962 between Reg Clark, the sales manager of Vox and Brian Epstein, manager of the Beatles, Vox supplied the "fab four" with two new Vox AC-30 amplifiers for a very small cost. In return, the Beatles agreed to be advertising spokesmen for Vox.

The ad shown below, designed by Thomas Organ and published in "Downbeat" magazine in early 1965, featured a JMI promotional photo of the Beatles with a varety of Vox amps.
