This first article on this page discusses the Midas "Air Detective" flight recorders under development by Royston. Most of the profits of the other companies in the Royston Group were used to fund the development of these flight recorders.
Royston spent all of their cash reserves on the developemnt of the Air Detective flight recorder. When the product failed, Royston was forced into receivership. All the other companies in the Royston group, including Vox, were also in receivership.
