This AC30 Solid State is from the CBS-Arbiter era of the mid-seventies. In comparison with a JMI AC30 there is a huge difference in the sound quality, the AC30 Solid State was still good enough to hold its own. Status Quo and Queen continued to utilize this particular model throughout the seventies. Status Quo in fact could be seen using up to ten of these units at a time! The amplifier boasted a tremolo circuit which reasonably recreated the tremolo of its predecessor. |
