The preamp, effects and power amp circuits were mounted to a single printed circuit board.

The preamp features amp modeling, digital effects and a digital program memory.

The proprietory Vox VR power amp circuit uses a 12AX7 tube as a one watt power amp. The one watt output from the tube is fed to a totally transparent 20 watt solid state power amp, faithfully recreating the sound of an all tube output stage.

An eight inch, four ohm speaker is mounted into a compact, sealed back OSB (oriented strand board) enclosure.
