The US Vox V1143 Beatle and the V133 Series 90 amplifiers included this accessory five button foot pedal. This pedal controlled reverb, tremolo, distortion (fuzz), MRB (mid range boost) and "repeat percussion." Four color coded pilot lamps illuminated to indicate that the related effect was engaged. If you look closely, you will notice that there is a colored washer under the switch nuts that correlates to the color of the indicator lamps.
This foot pedal becomes an extension of the control panel as the switches for the distortion feature and "repeat percussion" are located only on the foot pedal. There is no way to actuate these features without the pedal.
The MRB foot switch is unique in that it does not have an indicator lamp and it does not have a latching mechanism. It is a "momentary" style switch. One must hold the button down to engage the effect. When you release the button, MRB is turned off.
North Coast Music stocks exact original replacement pilot lamp assemblies in all four colors, replacement switch mechanisms, cable, six pin connector plugs, wiring schematics, and even the special spanner style nut used to secure the switches.
