The 1967 Eko Guitar described the Ranger 6 guitar as follows:
"Here is a guitar with everything the folk singer or country musician would want - - plus an astonishing low price. Careful hand craftmanship is consistantly apparent. You can hear, see, and feel the EKO tradition of quality; so highly magnified in these models.
Features: Jumbo, full sized body, tapered to project total sound, with a deep resonant voice. Although the Rangers are designed for the singer, many new features have been incorporated to satisfy the accomplished guitarist; such as adjustable rosewood pinned bridge, low action, hi-speed neck, precision machine heads, removable neck, 20 frets, fully purfled body, Florentine pick guard, double TT-BAR neck reinforcement with internal adjustable rod."
