"King James and the Royal Peasants" - 1966 - Newark/Granville, Ohio

Dave Coleman submitted this 1966 picture of his 1960's Vox band, King James and the Royal Peasants. The members were (top row, left to right) Dave Coleman: bass, Dave Liebig: rhythm guitar, Bob Huff: lead singer and guitar. In the bottom row, left to right are Jim VanOstran (aka King James): lead guitar and keyboard and Tom Vaughn on drums.

In addition to the Vox Buckingham guitar amp and Vox Tempest 12 guitar shown in the photo, the band also had a Vox Essex Bass amp and a Vox Teardrop six string.
