Page eight of the Summer 2004 Vox catalog features the original Valvetronix VC-12 and VC-4 foot controllers for the "Blue" Valvetronix range. This foot controller was not compatible with any of the "Chrome" or VT+ Valvetronix amp series introduced between 2004 and 2010, but may be used with the Valvetronix Pro amp series introduced in 2011. In 2011, the VC-12 was reissued by Vox in a slightly different paint scheme and was named the VC12SV.
