Vox "The British Sound" Guitar Display Stand for US Vox Dealers - 1965
Thomas Organ offered this display stand in 1965 to Vox dealers in North America to draw attention to Vox guitars and basses. It consisted of two parts. The first was a folded "origami style" cardboard contraption that cradled and supported the guitar. The second part was a printed sign featuring the Vox "crown" logo and the words "The British Sound" that was designed to lean against the base of the stand. It is doubtful that many of these guitar stands were used on the sales floor due to their instability. |
